Whisker Wonderland: A Holiday Adopt-a-Thon

Looking to adopt a furry friend? On December 17th from 10a-5p, seventeen Los Angeles Animal Shelters will be participating in Whisker Wonderland, a holiday adoption event. In addition to discounted adoption fees on hundreds of pets, adopters will receive a specially designed pet bed by Ortho Mattress for their new pet. Visit your local shelter on December 17th and help Found Animals send 500 pets home for the holidays! The animal care center for the South Bay is the Carson/Gardena shelter (216 W. The Santa Clarita Street Fair is one of our Valley’s most vibrant and active community events. The Street Fair happens on the 4th weekend of every month at the College of the Canyons parking lot. It’s open from 9am to 5pm on Saturday and 8am to 3pm on Sunday. Discover an incredible marketplace of vendors teeming with arts, crafts, jewelry, fashionable attire, home décor, and so much more. Unique and one-of-a-kind items are a specialty at the Santa Clarita Street Fair. During your visit, have lunch at one of the many gourmet food trucks featured at the Street Fair. Small business owners and entrepreneurs of all kinds are encouraged to sell at The Santa Clarita Street Fair because of its wide variety. Adding to the excitement is the Certified Farmer’s Market on Sunday, located directly across from The Santa Clarita Street Fair, filling the air with the deliciously decadent smell of a smorgasbord of cultural foods. HOLLYWOOD, CA - December 10,2011 - Music For Betterment is a non-profit event organized by new pop rock and multi-instrumentalist artist, Jason Hemmens and manager Marvin Bonilla. They have teamed up with Hunnypot Radio and The Libertine to help the less fortunate in our community. This is a red carpet event that will take place at Charlie Chaplin’s historic house now know as the Libertine off the Sunset strip in Hollywood(8210 W. Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 900045). Doors open at 7:30pm. The cover charge to this show is new toy or a minimum of $5 dollars donation. The Riverside Dickens Festival

Napoleon Dynamite and the gang are back in action January 15th with a new animated series, NAPOLEON DYNAMITE, which follows the continuing adventures of America's most awesomely awkward teenager and his quirky family and friends as they struggle to navigate small-town life in rural Idaho. The entire cast from the show will be rolling up in Uncle Rico’s van to Hollywood and Highland (at the base of the Grand Staircase) on Thursday, January 5th and they are bringing along a ton of activities for everyone to participate in. Free quesadillas and tater tots! Take your picture with Tina the Llama! Make a boondoggle key-chain at Deb’s Arts and Crafts! Learn the fine art of Rex Kwon Do! Show your dance moves! And, compete for a $1000 grand prize in the Napoleon Dynamite character sound-a-like contest!
