Antique Day was a new addition to the Lawn Event Schedule in 2013. The Antique Automobile Club of America – Bean Pot Region sponsors the show. This show is not just for cars but also for trucks, racecars, hot rods & motorcycles over 25 years old. Car registration is $15 Spectator admission is Adults, $10. Description

From its beginnings in the early twentieth century up to today, Chevrolet has produced automobiles ranging from mass-produced economy cars to world-class performance machines, and just about everything in between. Some Chevys were innovative and some were controversial. Some were venerable workhorses and some were destined be spotless show cars. Some are all but forgotten and some have become iconic. Without a doubt, Chevrolet has a legacy worthy of celebration, so on July 12, 2014 any car built under this world famous brand is encouraged to come to the Great Lawn for the Museum’s inaugural Chevy Day. From Corvairs to Corvettes and from Bel Airs to Blazers, all are welcome​. The show starts at 10am and runs until 2pm. Car registration is $15 in advance and $20 day of. Microcar Classic Event is one of the most unique and memorable Lawn Events on our calendar. The Museum is hosting this family-friendly car show that everyone can enjoy. For the nineteenth year, sponsored by the Gould Family, the show will feature rides for the kids (with parents approval, of course) in fun cars like Fiats, Messerschmitts, Crosleys and many others. The Archaeological Institute of America (AIA) will be hosting its eighth annual Archaeology Fair in collaboration with the Museum of Science this October on International Archaeology Day. The Archaeology Fair is an event that features archaeologically-themed programs and interactive activities for the whole family. This is your chance to dig into archaeology and uncover the past! The Archaeology Fair is part of the programming for Massachusetts Archaeology Month. The event continues to grow every year thanks to museums, institutions, and individuals who volunteer to share their passion for archaeology with the public. Activities are designed and presented by archaeologists, educators, and other specialists. This year’s presenters include the Archaeological Institute of America, Diablo Glass School, Legio III Cyrenaica, MA Board of Underwater Archaeological Resources, Massachusetts Archaeological Society, Historic New England (Spencer Peirce-Little Farm), Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary, Ancient Egypt Research Associates, Inc., City of Boston Archaeology Lab, Robert S. Peabody Museum of Archaeology, Boston National Historical Park, and more! Attendees can explore multiple aspects of archaeology and participate in activities involving pottery, textiles, tool making, shipwrecks, and more! The fair will take place at the Museum of Science from 9:00-2:00 on Friday, October 17th and from 10:00-3:00 on Saturday, October 18th. Tutto Italiano is coming! Bring your Italian car, motorcycle or just your love for Italian design. We welcome you to join us and appreciate the style and grace of Italian machinery at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum. Tutto Italiano is a family friendly event, featuring activities such as face painting for the kids. In addition to all the beautiful automobiles and motorcycles there will be music, food and various vendors on site. This is a judged event. The Ocean Bay Chapter of the Studebaker Drivers Club will host its 23rd Annual Oktoberfest “2014” Concours Reunion again this year the North Atlantic Packard Club will join Ocean Bay for this annual event. The meet has always been open to all automobiles manufactured by Studebaker, which includes Packard, Pierce Arrow, EMF, Flanders and Avanti II. Having the Packard Club as part of the meet should ensure a great turnout of Studebakers and Packards as well as a good array of Avantis and Avanti II’s. Concours 
Admission will be $15.00 per car; this includes admission for two to the Museum and its new exhibit for 2014.
